Modern Office

ITDev is located in a modern well-equipped office, Epsilon House, on the prestigious Southampton Science Park. We have access to additional rooms, for example to hold large meetings and to conduct training courses.

Lab Facilities

ITDev has a dedicated lab area where we are able to build and rework prototype hardware. We have on-site facilities for hardware test and evaluation.

Simulation Hardware

ITDev has a number of high performance servers dedicated to running CPU intensive hardware simulations.

Application Hosting

ITDev uses a modern high tech IT infrastructure. The client portal and other web-based systems (including client applications) are hosted on our own servers. The servers use virtual machines to host protected and secure application environments. The virtual machines will automatically migrate from one server to another when hardware failures occur, to provide continuity of service, 24/7. Each server has redundant disks (RAID1), redundant Ethernet connections, a UPS, and high speed access to the Internet via two independent ISPs along separate connections. We have a remote monitor that continually checks our key services. In the unlikely event that one of our services stops running, our system administrators will be sent a text message with a description of the problem, and it will be addressed immediately, whatever the time. Consequently we are able to offer high availability service level agreements.
