As a Software, FPGA or Electronics Engineer, you have lots of choice.

How do you make sure you’re going to keep learning and get the best opportunity to develop your skills?

As part of ITDev’s friendly, close-knit engineering team you're going to be working on a wide variety of projects at all stages of the development lifecycle.

This means you will be using the full range of skills you have, and will keep developing new skills and experience.

You’re going to be a key member of a business that focuses on developing trust, making ethical decisions, and prioritises long-term relationships over short-term gains.

Our culture and way of working has been recognised in the South Coast Tech Awards where we were the winner of the 'Tech Employer of the year' category, with particular praise for how we support the continued development of our team.

What work will I be doing?

We work with our customers to develop everything from entire electronic systems, through to individual embedded software, hardware, or FPGA components in larger systems.

This means you’re going to be using all of your software or hardware engineering skills to develop technology that touches millions of people every day.

You’re going to fit in if you love problem-solving; if you bring a new approach; if you think "there must be a better way".

Our recruitment process assesses your logical problem-solving approach and tests your technical skills. We focus on what skills and attitude you bring, not just the qualifications and experience you have.

Flexible working

You can work remotely, in the Southampton office, or a mix of the two (hybrid).

If you want to work remotely, you need to be prepared to visit the office occasionally.

Our culture and values are vital to the success of the business, so we believe it’s important to have some face-to-face contact with you in the work environment.

If you want to find out more, or just have a chat about what it's like to join our team, get in touch

  • Sports and social events.
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays.

We run a reward scheme where a team member can recognise any other team member that acts in a way that exemplifies our company values, by sending them a value card. Each month we pick two cards at random with the recipients receiving a prize!
