Continuous Integration Workshop

The first ITDev CI workshop was held at the Southampton Science Park on 26th April 2018, with 28 attendees representing 17 companies. Many different industries were represented, some working in safety critical markets like aerospace, others working in broadcast and telecoms to cyber security and oil & gas.

A scene setting presentation started the day, followed by 4 industry presentations, videos of which can be seen below. Attendees moved into breakout groups for the afternoon session, discussing challenges and experiences, summarising on flip charts before regrouping to share with the other groups. Images of the flip charts and videos of the feedback sessions are also available.

The day finished with a wrap up session, where suggested solution to challenges were revisited, aims from the start of the day reviewed and next steps discussed.

In general there was an appetite for future events. To be kept informed on the next event or other related CI activities, join our CI Interest Group.
