This summer we employed James as an Electronics Intern and Richard as a Software Intern. James made a great contribution to a high performance data analysis project using a Xilinx Zynq SoC. Richard joined our Client Portal development team. He slotted in perfectly and his input was also highly appreciated. Richard kindly put together this recommendation after leaving:

"Over the summer of 2014 I worked at ITDev as a Software Intern. During this period I was exposed to a wide variety of programming languages and challenges. A lot of my time was spent designing and implementing improvements for the portal system at ITDev. I enjoyed being part of the team and found the Agile working environment very productive and efficient. Most of all I enjoyed seeing process improvement being actively pursued and not settling for how tasks are currently completed. It is an environment where opinions are listened to. There is a strong feel of democracy where generally the best outcome is elected based on facts with no staff ranking bias. The staff at ITDev are kind and welcoming, and there is a huge social aspect to the company. While I was there I got involved with "Lunch & Line" (walking across slackline between trees on the premises) as well as several trips to the pub for drinks or lunch. So I would definitely recommend ITDev to any software or electronic engineer who wants to be part of a great team and enjoys a challenge"

ITDev has been running internships for nearly 10 years. If you are interested in an internship with us then please check out our careers page.
