It was a privilege to attend the IET President’s Address on Wednesday 23rd October at IET London: Savoy Place with the IET President Dr Peter Bonfield discussing his journey as an engineer and aims for his presidency. An inspirational presentation showcasing what can be achieved with belief, drive and pulling interdisciplinary teams together.
Peter highlighted the concordat he has already launched to help organisations show their commitment to valuing their engineers and ethical practices. It was great to see we were one of the 53 companies who have already signed up and pledged their support to the concordat. This aligns well with our business culture and the support the company are giving, along with the IET, to support staff in their CPD journey and achieving engineering chartership.
We were pleased, as an IET Enterprise partner, to be able to showcase some of the technology we work on, at the event. A range of discussions took place covering our technology consultancy, where we focus on maximising value to clients, and our embedded design services.
