Video Products Manager

BSc - Electronic and Communication Engineering, University of Plymouth

I’m a technology leader with over two decades of experience in the video broadcast industry, currently serving as Video Products Manager at ITDev. My previous role was as CTO at Artel Video Systems where my focus was on developing IP-based video solutions, including PTP switch products and JPEG2K/XS integrations. I actively contributed to standards bodies such as SMPTE, AES, and VSF to help shape the future of broadcast workflows.

Prior to Artel, I was Chief Engineer at ARG ElectroDesign, where I led hardware and firmware development for IP switches and ARQ video contribution systems. I also worked closely with software teams and technical alliances like AIMS, helping deliver innovative and commercially successful solutions.

Earlier in my career, I held roles in product development and technical sales, including at Garland Partners. My engineering background includes extensive experience in FPGA and hardware design, and I continue to enjoy combining deep technical insight with strategic leadership to deliver impactful broadcast technology.
